A New Administration
Dearly beloved of God, the Lord Jesus Christ said that to see and enter the kingdom of God you must be born again. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.
God told the prophet John the Baptist, “He that sent me to baptize with water, the same unto me, ‘Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, the same is He Which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost [the holy spirit].”
John saw the holy spirit descend on Jesus, and it abode upon him.
After God raised Jesus out from among the dead he said, “And behold, I send the promise of My Father upon you, but tarry in Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”
Before his ascension into heaven he told them to wait for the promise of the Father. John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost [pneuma hagion: holy spirit not many days hence.”
Acts 2:1-4 records that receiving, and in response to the people’s question, “What meaneth this?” Peter concluded by saying, “This Jesus God raised up [resurrected], whereof we all are witnesses.
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost [pneuma hagion: holy spirit], He [Jesus] hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.”
Peter, by revelation from God, credited Jesus Christ with shedding forth the gift of holy spirit.
“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, Whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
This marked the beginning of a new administration of God’s dealing with His people.
Ephesians 3 calls it the administration of the grace of God, and the administration of the mystery.
II Corinthians speaks of it as the new testament [diatheke] covenant, that of the spirit.
On the Feast of Pentecost Jesus Christ sent the promise of the Father, the gift of holy spirit and endued God’s people with power from on high. Everyone that confessed Jesus as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead were saved. They are born again of the spirit from God and have entered the kingdom of God.
Furthermore, each one is now a member of the body of Christ and are filled with all in all of them. Each one is completely filled with Christ’s accomplishments. Each one is blessed in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm by God, Who was now their Father. Each one is sealed for the day of redemption with the promised holy spirit.
The mystery that God had hid in Himself was revealed. It was now, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Had the princes of this age known what God had planned they would not have crucified the Lord of glory, but they didn’t know.
God began a new administration; an administration of grace, in which each believer in the Lord Jesus Christ would be filled with the holy spirit, along with all the rights, privileges, and ability associated with it.
It would no longer be one or two people out of the nation who had the spirit upon them; each and every child of God would have the gift of holy spirit. Each of them enter the kingdom of God by being born again of the spirit from God. Each is complete in Christ Jesus the Lord, and is filled with all in all of them.
This Administration of the Grace of God will end when God our Father sends His Son to redeem us in the gathering together.
The Lord will raise the dead in Christ first, and then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Rejoice!
Today we have the glory of the new birth reality, but the glory of the inheritance is coming, dearly beloved. Christ is coming!
Dearly beloved, God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank God for His great grace, mercy, and love for us.
You are sealed for eternal life! Do you want proof? Speak in tongues and the holy spirit from God will witness to your inner being that you have received the spirit of sonship, you are a child of God, you have entered the kingdom of God, you are an heir of God, and a joint heir with Christ! Such grace!
Dearly beloved, we live in the Administration of the Grace of God. Rejoice forevermore!
