The True Reality
Dearly beloved of God, there are two narratives being painted before our very eyes. Each narrative speaks of a particular reality.
Reality is defined as the sum of all that is real, as opposed to that which is only imaginary.
The One True and Living God, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ only speaks the truth. His Word is truth, and He means what He says, and He says what He means. Nothing can prevent Him from fulfilling His Word. When God speaks it becomes reality.
The so-called god of this age, the devil, pushes a false narrative through information gleaned through the five senses. He is a liar, and the deceiver that deceives the whole world. His propaganda of lies paint a false reality, an illusion meant to deceive us.
Which one we listen to and believe will determine our reality.
Our adversary tries to paint the picture that we are victims. The Living God reveals that we are victors; we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
The adversary works to destroy people; the One True God saves people through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The adversary holds the strength of death and he kills people; the One True God is the God of the living, and He will deliver those who believe in Him from the state of death. He gave us the promise of life in Christ Jesus.
Regardless of our current reality the promise of God is a greater reality. We must stand on God’s Word, withstand the adversary, and endure by believing the certainty of God’s Word if we are to have victory in our present circumstances.
We must not allow the adversary to intimidate us, and dissuade us with his lies in order to deceive us from the true reality that is available to us in Christ.
The true reality is whosoever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, our believing in Jesus Christ the Son of God. Be fully persuaded about it, dearly beloved.
The true reality is that God cares for us, and He is for us, and is always with us. He hears our cries for help. He will never leave us, or forsake us. He is our sufficiency in all things all the time. The true reality is that God works for our good in all things.
The true reality is that Jesus Christ spoiled principalities and powers and he made a show of them openly triumphing over them in his resurrection from the dead. God has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son.
The true reality is that God our Father has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm; every last one of them.
The true reality is that we are completely filled in Christ with all that he accomplished; it is all in all of us.
The true reality is that it is Christ in you, the hope of glory. He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world. As he is, so are we in this world.
The true reality is that it will take the Father the ages to come to show us the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Death will be swallowed up in victory. The adversary will be destroyed. God will make all things new in the new heavens and the new earth, and we will live forever in His loving care. There will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor any more pain for us, dearly beloved.
God’s Word is true, and the reality of which it speaks will endure forever. Until all is fulfilled according to His Word, walk in the reality that He made you more than a conqueror in Christ.
Dearly beloved, we are not exempt from the adversary’s attacks on us today, but in all of them we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. That reality is a far greater than any other you may face.
