What Good Thing Will He Withhold from Us?

Dearly beloved of God, what good thing will God withhold from them that love Him?

The Church Epistles reveal that we were justified by believing concerning the Lord Jesus Christ and by his accomplishments. This was God’s idea and He made it available by the good pleasure of His will by grace.

Jesus Christ gave himself for our sins to deliver us from this evil world according to the will of God, our Father. God called us by the grace of Christ. The gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ is the good news of the grace of God to all who believe on him.

In this gospel we learn that Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God, and now we stand before God in him. God made Christ Jesus wisdom unto us, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption so that He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord. He did not withhold these things from us, dearly beloved.

These did not come by our work, but by God’s grace to us who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Since in Christ we are justified from sin, there is no more condemnation coming to us. Jesus Christ delivered us from the sentence that Adam brought upon us, the condemnation of death dealing sin.

We no longer stand before God in Adam; we stand before God in Christ.

Rejoice dearly beloved, we are not only justified before God since we are in Christ, God freely gives us all things with him!

In Christ, our Father blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. In him we are holy and without blame before the Father now.

In love, the Father determined beforehand for us to have sonship to Himself through Jesus Christ in accordance with the good pleasure of His will to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He highly favored us in the beloved one, Jesus Christ.

All of these things are ours in Christ by the riches of His grace, the good pleasure of His will, by His determination which He determined beforehand in accordance with His purpose that He works after the counsel of His own will. He did not withhold any of them from us; He freely gave all of them to us with His Son.

Thank God, our Father for the great grace He showed us in Christ, and not only that; He called us by His gospel to obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ!

As you can see, justification is only the beginning of what is ours in Christ. There is no condemnation, and nothing can separate us from him. We will be glorified together with Christ when he returns to gather us together up to meet him in the air.

What good thing will He withhold from us? He will freely give us all things with Christ, dearly beloved. Rejoice forevermore and walk with thankfulness and humility before Him. Utilize the access we have to Him via the spirit of sonship with boldness and confidence; we are in Christ.

We certainly don’t deserve the riches of His grace that are ours in Christ, but in Christ all of them are ours!

Our Father will display the riches of His grace to His dearly beloved children in Christ, and He will display them to us with His loving kindness and tender mercies.

There is nothing good He withhold from them who love Him – nothing! Rejoice and again I say rejoice!
