Practice the Presence of God
Dearly beloved of God, in this Administration of the Grace of God, the Administration of the Mystery concerning Christ, God designates Himself as being the God and the Father of all Christians. Furthermore, He states by revelation that He is “in” each and every Christian.
Let’s allow the Scriptures to unfold so that we clearly understand this.
John 3: 6 and 7
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Jesus Christ foretold that to be born of the spirit was soon to be made available to Israelites. He further said to Nicodemus that you must be born again.
After Jesus was crucified, dead, and buried, and God resurrected from the dead, he ascended into heaven and sat down at God’s right side, it became available to be born again of the spirit from God.
On the Feast of Pentecost the Lord Jesus Christ sent the promise of the Father, and they were baptized with the holy spirit.
The moment anyone confesses the Lord Jesus and believes that God raised him from the dead they are saved. See Romans 10:9.
At that moment the person receives the gift of holy spirit and the remission of their sins. They are born again of the spirit from God.
They are born again of incorruptible seed, and they are partakers of the divine nature.
With the revelation of the Mystery concerning Christ we learn:
Ephesians 3:6
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ by the gospel.
Now those of all the other nations other than Israel are joint heirs with Israel, of a joint body with them; the body of Christ which is the Church, and they jointly partake of the promise in Christ by the gospel.
The Old Covenant pertained to Israel. That covenant was by bloodline from Abraham to Isaac, to Jacob, to his twelve sons, from which came the twelve tribes of Israel.
In that Administration, Israel was under the law given to Moses. God covenanted with them to be their God, and for them to be His people.
Christ was the end of the law for righteousness. By his accomplishments God is our Father, and He is our God. Our relationship with Him is by the spirit; by being born again of the spirit from Him.
In the New Testament the Church is called the Church of God. The Church is also called the body of Christ. God is our God. God is our Father. We are His children, the household of God. God has claimed the Church for His own. Rejoice!
God will never leave us, nor forsake us. He if for us, not against us.
We are now God’s habitation, His dwelling place by the spirit. He determined ahead of time for us to have sonship with Himself.
Christ was the firstborn, and we are his many brethren. God called us, He justified us, and He glorified us. He is for us. How will He not freely give us all things with Christ? He does!
Beloved, we should practice the presence of God in our lives day by day. Go to Him; He is your God and your Father. Seek His advice from His Word and by His spirit in specific situations.
We should consult Him for the answers we need; He is willing to give us wisdom if we only ask it of Him. He is willing to supply, support, defend, and deliver His people.
He is our God and our Father. What good thing will He withhold from us? Nothing!
He is willing to lead and to guide us, so day by day live in the reality He reveals to us in the Scriptures. It is the truth.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord; nothing. He is with us and He is for us, so practice the presence of God in your day by day walk with Him. Go to Him.
