The Lordship of Jesus Christ

Dearly beloved of God, the Lord Jesus Christ gave his all for us; once we are saved we ought to live in the lordship of Jesus Christ. It was not just that we confessed Jesus as Lord to get saved, but we should live in his lordship in our day by day living.

That lordship requires that we submit to the will of God day by day. We should do the will of God from the heart in all things; in our spiritual walk, in our families, at work, among God’s people, in all things. We should do all things as unto the Lord and not unto men.

None of us live unto ourselves. Christ both lived and died, and rose again that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. The Father committed all judgment into his hands and all of us are going to stand before the judgement seat of Christ; the bema.

We will be rewarded for the things we have done according to his will with the love of God. Whatever we do outside of that is worthless. It is high time to put on the Lord Jesus Christ, meaning it is time to walk in his lordship.

Walking in the lordship of Jesus Christ will determine how we treat one another in the household of God. How would Christ treat those around us? Walk in love as he did. Walk in the lordship of love.

Stand fast in the liberty that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. You can’t be any freer than standing in his accomplishments. One of them is to have Christ born within you. Now we can be led by that life-giving spirit of Christ in us. God made it available to us by His grace.

How could you be any freer than to have him have your back and energize signs, miracles, and wonders in your life? His part is to provide the deliverance, ours is to listen to him, obey, and stand fast in his will.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his exerted strength for you. Walking in the lordship of Jesus Christ is the only true freedom in life.

Dearly beloved of God, since we live in the spirit let us also walk in the spirit. Let us walk in the lordship of Jesus Christ.
