Dearly Beloved

"I Am the LORD that Heals Thee"

Dearly beloved of God, it is God's Will for people to have good health. When people are sick, He wants them to be healed. Sickness is oppression from the devil, it does not come from the One True God.

God has done so much for us in the field of healing. He made the body to heal itself, and this is just considering what He did at the physical level. He put information in the DNA of the human body so that it repairs itself day after day. The body is stocked with anti-bodies to fight disease. Everything He did when he created, made, and formed man was very good.

“Who forgives all thine iniquities; who heals all thy diseases;” Psalm 103:3. This is God’s will for our lives.

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” III John 2.

“Who his own self [Jesus Christ] bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” I Peter 2:24

God sent His Son to pay for our sins and sicknesses. He was made sick with our sicknesses and by his stripes we were healed. It is God’s will for us to have health. He sent Jesus Christ to acquire it for us. Jesus Christ paid for our healing by the stripes laid on him.

You do not question that God forgave you in Christ, do you? If we believe that, we can believe that we were healed by his stripes. Take God at His Word. Claim it by believing what God says in His Word concerning it. His Word reveals His Will!.

It is not a question of how bad the disease is that captivates us, or how long we have had it, but whether Jesus Christ’s redemptive work was sufficient to make our healing possible.

“When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” Matthew 8:16 and 17

When the Lord Jesus Christ was present with people who had need, and the revelation was there for him to heal them, they all got healed.

God's Son always did His Father's Will. Healing is God's Will for His people. He never made anyone sick to humble them or punish them for their sins.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost [holy spirit] and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38

Dearly beloved, he could do these things becausehe had the power of the holy spirit and God was with him. Is He with us today?

“You are not in the flesh but in the spirit, since the spirit from God dwells in you.” Romans 8:9.

Dearly beloved, God is with us, too! We are God's habitations, His dwelling place by the spirit.

It was His idea that we ask Him for help. He set up His throne of grace so that we could find mercy and grace to help in time of need. He is able and willing to answer our prayers.

It was also His idea to give us power from on high, the gift of holy spirit. It was His Will. It was His idea to enable us to manifest the new birth spirit for profit. We can manifest it for nine various areas of profit; the manifestation of gifts of healings is one of them.

“Faith [pistis: believing] comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God.” Romans 10:17. We receive all the things of God by believing what God says.

The Lord said, “Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believes on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father. And whatsoever you shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14

Jesus Christ could do the mighty works he did because God was with Him and He gave him the power of the holy spirit. He believed God's Word and the revelation God gave him. According to the Lord, we can do the the works he did, and even greater works.

Dearly beloved, believe the Word of God, and such as you have, freely give to those in need. We have the ability to minister healing and deliverance to people.

Our confidence should be in His ability to heal as we believe Him according to His Word, and according to the revelation He gives us in specific situations. Thank God that He has given such power to men!

If God’s Word, the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, the power of the holy spirit and the nine manifestations, and the power of prayer were not enough, He also gave us communion so that we remember what the Lord Jesus accomplished by his shed blood and the beatings he took so that we might be healed.

“O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.” Psalm 30:2

Dearly beloved, say what the Word of God says, and don’t be double-minded. Go to the Father for help in time of need and receive deliverance by believing what He says in His Word.

“I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” God delivered Him from what made him afraid.

Look unto Him, dearly beloved, and you will not be disappointed in your expectation. He is indeed the Lord that heals us.
